my view on politics
i am not going to state my view but that i feel strongly about the whole political process. i feel strongly that it is our responsiblity as citizens to inform ourselfs not only on the issues but the canidates. an important part of that is looking at both sides and to weight the pros and cons. then participating in not only the november vote but in the primarys. if you have researched and feel strongly for your choice then i will respect that but expect a healthy nonconfrontatonal discussion. i LOVE talking politics as long as it remains nice. what i can't understand is the passion for sports but the lack of concern for the future of our nation. make a choice, take a stand, and VOTE so says the Queen. :)

Exactly! I'm completely baffled by those who are so into the sports and can't take 5 minutes to figure out what the heck is going on with our country.
I know that I'm not as informed as I should be, but I'm working on it. I'm tring to catch up on 25 years of ignorance. It's quite a job!
I have found that I also like discussing politics in a civil manner. I like to hear what other people think and why. It helps me form my own opinions.
One more thing. I love that you post so often, as I'm completely and hopelessly addicted to blogging.
When i get a random thought I can't help but write it down. I am getting addicted very quickly.
Talking to others helps me also. When bad feelings or names come in I am done.
